This is from my solo art show in Portland, ME from a few years ago. I really enjoy masks and wanted to do a cute interpretation about them and play with patterns. I always see cool animal masks and I thought how fun it would be if animals also had masks too but they made ones that look like humans so they can blend in. The pieces in the set show both humans and animals wearing masks. The show was called “Esconder” which is the Spanish word that means “to hide.” I hope this goes to a happy home!
